Too long I have suffered under the tutelage of those prophets of doom. They sound confident yet their solutions are simplistic and misguided.
There are really big issues needing our attention. What are the problems that should worry us? And what tools can we learn or acquire to help us solve these problems for ourselves, our families, and beyond.
Dr. Stephen Covey said we learn best by teaching others what we have learned. Selfishly, I want to learn about the problems and the tools to make better, wiser decisions. In the process, these pages may bring you truth and clarity that rises above the many confused and fearful voices promising quick fixes, easy solutions that do not work, and magic beans that are anything but magic.
I very much believe we have all been called to this time, this moment. We have a task before us and hard work ahead. The good news: we also have an unprecedented opportunity. Our work is like the work of those who rebuilt the city walls of Jerusalem thousands of years ago. We will work with a cement trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. We shall succeed; we shall build the wall.
