Lockdown Day 29: THE THEOLOGY OF THE COW
When lockdown comes to an end, beware of living a life of “blowing & going, plotting & planning, ducking & diving, running & gunning, slamming & jamming, moving & shaking, shoving & jiving”.
For those who are discontent with being passive spectators but at the same time refuse to be resisting aggressors
When lockdown comes to an end, beware of living a life of “blowing & going, plotting & planning, ducking & diving, running & gunning, slamming & jamming, moving & shaking, shoving & jiving”.
The question is: Why do we trust people we do not know with information we do not need that can be detrimental to our health and decremental to our witness?
We need to enter a meeting like a 1-liter container of available volume and leave the meeting like a 5-liter container, with a greater capacity to contain more.
We have hope. Hold on to it! And remember the promise written in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to give you hope and a future.”
The LA Times paid tribute to those who sacrifice life and limb as they compassionately care for the GOVID-19 victims. These are our health-care heroes. This is news that matters
The ability to look at ourselves through ‘light-hearted’ lenses will draw people closer to us. At the same time, it will help us to respond more kindly and less aggressive to stressful situations.
Before we get to Calvary, we always pass through Gethsemane, the place where our will meets the will of God.
It will be a sad indictment on any believer if we finish the lockdown spiritually in the same way that we started it.
Nothing reveals theology more than when we talk to our God. A transformed life will not only be revealed in HOW we talk to our Father in heaven but also in WHAT we talk to Him about.
Focusing only on the PROPHETIC can make us lose sight of the REDEMPTIVE – and never has this been more brutally exposed than through COVID-19
